Mamistad:
Mamistad was born to bring pregnant women and new mamis together to share the struggles, joys and beauty of motherhood. (In Spanish, Mami means "mommy" and Amistad is "friendship").  I learned through my own pregnancy that women need women!  Mamistad creates group of 5-10 Pregnant or New Mamis in general geographic proximity to one another (a close-knit circle of friends) within our larger group (an amazing network of many women). The First Word is a magazine that was recently created by a Loudoun County parent for Loudoun County families.  The articles are written by local professionals including doctors, psychologists, nutritionists, a regular column by our life coach, etc.  We also focus on advertising by local, family friendly businesses. The First Word contains information that is helpful for parents of prenatal to preteen kids.

Conservatory Ballet:
Conservatory Ballet has been the premičre academy in Northern Virginia for ballet as a discipline, art form and physical activity for children. Our goal is to develop the individual student to the best of their individual ability while enhancing their joy in movement. Their method of instruction begins with the very youngest in developing hand – eye coordination, musicality, and early socialization with classmates and teachers. All students are exposed to the intellectual, emotional, physical and visual aspects of dance. Conservatory Ballet promotes a value system based on work ethic, respect, support and professionalism which requires a positive attitude and patience to experience results.

Strollerfit:
Strollerfit is an excellent way to get out there and exercise while making new friends, and connecting with other mommies in the area. Strollerfit is also a great way for expecting moms to stay fit while keeping in shape, and meeting new moms! Get out there moms, exercise and have fun all at once!
