I just couldn’t resist signing Maya up for Ballet the second she told me she wanted to dance just like one of her friends {awwww}. After we signed up, I couldn’t resist giving her a tutu dress to wear to class. She loved to spin around the room with the tulle in  tow. She truly felt like a princess {of course the Sleeping Beauty crown, and hand-made gems helped}. Ballet is over for the season. We have moved onto Tumbles class..but we will be back to dancing, spinning and twirling in the Winter.

I had the pleasure of making a special little girl her birthday tee for her birthday party. It was so fun to integrate the princess theme for a birthday outfit. A lettuce cut pink tee was the canvas for this project, and I hand-painted a princess, and tailored it with blue eyes and a precious red smile just like the birthday girl! I welcome all opportunities to make custom crafted, and personalized birthday tees, tutus and onesies.

Yesterday the weather was beautiful, and my daughter and I had a full day of swimming, playing and having fun. We stopped at a local treat shop and ate the best soft serve ice cream which I usually don’t like as much, but YUM! We were talking about ice cream and cupcakes, and that inspired me to make this {cupcake applique} design to pair with the adorable {tutu bloomer} I just made. Available on the web site soon…
